My trainer* told me that for my first run, I should take it slow and easy, and train for only 30 minutes. So I headed across the street into a development, avoided the hills, and ran VERY slowly the entire 29 minutes, walking only up one small hill. I then came home and mapped out my route with Google Earth (which hasn't updated since some new roads were added (that I ran on but could not find on Google Earth)), so the first run is fairly inaccurate. Here's my stats, tho, as best as I could figure:
2.56+ miles over 29 minutes with rate of less than 11.3mph. Not bad for my first run, I think.

Impressive, Kristen! I would have a hard time running 29 minutes straight my first go! I'll be following your progress with interest!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Laura! I so wish we could do this together. Maybe someday!
